The first impression: Ridika is a foreign operator without a Belgian licence. Net-net, this is mainly interesting if you already know the brand.

Ridika — depositing with Bancontact
See the offerIn practice the payment picture is clear-cut: you deposit with the Bancontact card or the app, and what comes out lands on your account. Since March 2026 the Payconiq by Bancontact app is officially called Bancontact Pay.
Per transaction Bancontact Pay lets €1500 through, and €2500 per day. The money is available at once; the way back usually costs one to three banking days, and the operator adds its own check on top.

Opening and verifying an account
Signing up looks roughly the same on every site: name, date of birth and documents, before anything is paid out. Keep an identity card and proof of residence ready. Make sure account holder and player are the same person.
Language cover is a lottery, and the regulator has no say in the outcome. Archive what you receive about deposits and withdrawals; in a dispute over a payout those are the only documents that count.

Weekly limit, age bar and exclusion
The Belgian framework around player protection is more strictly than most of its neighbours and it is built that way on purpose. On any licensed site the weekly limit defaults to €200. A lower limit takes effect directly, upwards, a review and a delay apply.
EPIS is the Gaming Commission's central exclusion system: the block covers every licence holder in the country. The request goes through the regulator itself. Under-21s have been shut out of casino, hall and betting since September 2024; the National Lottery is the exception at 18. Age is verified at registration.
What players ask us
Look at the wagering requirement, the max cashout and the validity window — that is where it bites. The validity window is often shorter than you expect. Bonus money and own money are often counted separately.
No, you pay no tax on winnings; that burden falls on the operator. Ask for advice if large amounts are involved. No declaration is therefore needed.
No, Ridika does not appear in the Belgian licence register. The regulator keeps both lists current. You can check this yourself in the regulator's register.
The statutory standard is €200 per week. Going down is always allowed, going up is not. It is on by default; you need do nothing. The ceiling counts per week, not per month.
